Sky City China - World's Tallest Skyscraper In 90 Days

A Chinese company Broad Sustainable Building Corporation was planning to build a 220-storey skyscraper within 90 days. Construction of the new 838m-tall building named Sky City would begin by the end of the month in Changsha, China.

Upon completion by March next year, it would be the world's tallest building. Currently, the title is being held by Burj Khalifa in Dubai, which is 829m tall.

Yuanda media affairs officer Zhu Linfang said Sky City would be built using the modular construction technique and that the building could withstand strong earthquake. The company used the same technology to build a 30-storey hotel, also in Changsha, within 15 days.
